1. Who we are and what this notice covers

This website, kenengprint.com (including its French and Spanish versions), is operated by Keneng Print (“Keneng,” “we,” “us”), a flexible packaging manufacturer headquartered at Room 7B, One Capital Place, 18 Luard Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong, with a factory in Chaozhou, Guangdong, China and an office in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

This notice applies to business visitors, prospective customers, customers and suppliers who contact us through this website, by email or by phone. The website is for business use and is not directed at consumers or at anyone under 16.

2. Information we collect

What you give us. Through the quote form: your name, company, email address, product type, estimated volume, destination market and project details. By email or phone: whatever you choose to share, including artwork files, specifications and your business contact details. Please do not send sensitive personal data (such as health, financial-account or government-ID information); we do not need it.

What our systems record automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, date and time) for security and reliability.

Cookies. This website does not currently set advertising or analytics cookies, and it serves its fonts from our own server. The company film on the About page is hosted by YouTube and loads only when you press play; if you play it, YouTube (Google) may set cookies and receive your IP address under its own privacy policy. If we add analytics or similar tools, we will update this notice and, where the law requires, ask for your consent first.

3. How and why we use it

  • To respond to you — answer inquiries, prepare quotations and samples, and follow up. Basis: steps taken at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering business inquiries.
  • To run our business relationship — process orders, arrange shipping and documentation, keep records. Basis: contract, legal obligations and legitimate interests.
  • To keep the website and our business secure — prevent fraud, abuse, impersonation and unauthorized access. Basis: legitimate interests.
  • To tell you about relevant products and services — occasionally, to business contacts who have inquired or ordered. You can opt out at any time. Basis: legitimate interests, or consent where required.
  • To meet legal duties and protect our rights — comply with law, respond to lawful requests, and establish or defend legal claims.

We do not make decisions about you using solely automated processing.

4. Who we share it with

Your information is handled by the Keneng team in Hong Kong, mainland China and Thailand, and by trusted service providers acting on our behalf — for example website hosting and form handling, email and IT services, freight forwarders and logistics partners (when you place an order), and professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers. They may use your information only to provide their services to us and are required to protect it.

We may also disclose information where required by law or a lawful request, to protect the rights, property or safety of Keneng, our customers or others, or in connection with a merger, financing or sale of all or part of our business.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. International transfers

Because we operate from Hong Kong, China and Thailand, information you submit is transferred to and processed in those places, which may not offer the same level of data protection as your own country. Where the law requires safeguards for transfers from the EEA, UK or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate mechanisms such as standard contractual clauses or, for inquiries you make, the transfer being necessary to take pre-contract steps at your request. By submitting an inquiry you acknowledge that your information will be processed in these locations.

6. How long we keep it

We keep inquiry information for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless it leads to an order. Order, accounting and shipping records are kept for as long as needed for business and legal purposes (often seven years or more). We may keep information longer where needed to resolve a dispute or comply with law. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and to the extent permitted by law we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please protect your own accounts and devices, and confirm by phone before acting on any message that asks for payment or banking changes.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, to object to certain uses, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to withdraw consent you have given. Email info@kenengprint.com with your request. We may need to verify your identity first, we will respond within the time the law requires (generally one month), and we may decline requests that are manifestly unfounded or excessive, or where the law allows or requires us to keep the information. If you are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your local data-protection authority.

EEA, UK and Switzerland. The rights above are those under the GDPR and equivalent laws.

United States. Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws (such as California) may have rights to know, delete, correct and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as described in Section 4. You may use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof of authority.

Hong Kong. We handle personal data in line with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance. Supplying the fields marked “required” on our form is voluntary, but if you do not, we may be unable to respond. You may ask to access or correct your data, and we may charge a reasonable fee for access requests where the Ordinance permits.

Australia and New Zealand. We handle personal information in line with the principles of the Australian Privacy Act and the New Zealand Privacy Act. As described in Section 5, information is disclosed to our teams in Hong Kong, China and Thailand.

9. Your artwork and specifications

We treat artwork, specifications and product information you send us as confidential business information and use them only to quote and make your order. If you need stronger protection before sharing sensitive designs, please ask us to sign a non-disclosure agreement first. You confirm that you have the right to give us any artwork, trademarks or content you send, and you are responsible for ensuring it does not infringe anyone else’s rights.

10. Imitation websites and phishing

Keneng Print is not connected with any other website, social-media account or company that uses a similar name or imitates this site. Our only website is kenengprint.com and our email addresses end in @kenengprint.com. We are not responsible for information you give to anyone else. If you doubt that a message is from us, contact us at info@kenengprint.com or by the phone numbers on our Contact page before replying.

11. Links, children and changes

This website may link to other sites, such as standards bodies and regulators. We do not control them and are not responsible for their privacy practices. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16; if you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it. We may update this notice from time to time by posting the new version here with a new date; continued use of the website after an update means you accept the updated notice, without limiting any rights you have under law.

Legal notice and website terms

By using this website you agree to the terms below.

Information is general. Product descriptions, specifications, performance figures (such as barrier values and temperature limits), regulatory summaries and the Knowledge articles are provided for general information and are not professional, legal or regulatory advice. Regulations change and apply differently by market; you are responsible for confirming that your packaging complies in the countries where you sell. Product photographs and mockups are illustrative, and sample packs shown use fictional brand names.

No offer until confirmed in writing. Nothing on this website is an offer to sell. A contract is formed only when we issue a written quotation or order confirmation and it is accepted, and it will be governed by those documents and our written terms.

Intellectual property. The website’s text, design, photographs, graphics and the Keneng name and logo belong to Keneng or its licensors. You may view and print pages for your own business evaluation. You may not copy, republish or use them commercially, or use our name or branding in a way that suggests affiliation, without our written permission. Third-party names and marks belong to their owners.

Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided “as is,” and Keneng is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, loss of profit or business, or loss arising from your reliance on the website or from interruptions or errors in it. Nothing in this notice excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or affects any rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

Governing law. This notice and any dispute about this website are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the Hong Kong courts have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory local law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
