Keneng rotogravure printing hall in Chaozhou
Keneng Print — Factory

20,000+ m² of
controlled precision.

Every order runs the full gauntlet — print, laminate, convert, inspect — inside a single facility in Chaozhou, Guangdong.

Investment & capacity

1,000 metric tons
a month.

Constant investment in people, equipment and technology is the framework for our growth — the latest round added capacity at every step of the line.

Printing

2 new rotogravure presses

Outstanding graphics with high-speed gravure printing, backed by in-house cylinder and color management.

Lamination

4 new solvent-less laminators

Solvent-free bonding for low-residual, food-safe laminates across multi-layer barrier structures.

Converting

6 new preform pouch lines

Automatic pouch-making lines for stand-up, flat bottom, gusset and shaped formats at volume.

Print quality

4 new high-speed scanners

In-line printing and color-detection scanners watch every meter of web for defects and drift.

Slitting

4 new high-speed slitters

Precision slitting with edge and splice inspection keeps rollstock programs on spec.

Environment

Certified low-emission plant

A solvent recuperation system captures and reuses process solvents, to meet government environmental requirements. The plant has also been fully upgraded to minimize noise and eliminate exhaust emissions, with the environmental certificate issued by China's Ministry of Ecology and Environment — so production runs smoothly and deliveries stay on time.

Production flow

Eight steps.
Zero shortcuts.

Step 01

Prepress

Your supplied artwork adapted and proofed for industrialized printing before a single cylinder is engraved.

Step 02

Cylinder engraving

Gravure cylinders engraved and proofed against the approved standard, then archived for identical reorders.

Step 03

Printing

Nine gravure colors with registered matte and gloss finishes — or digital for short runs — monitored by in-line inspection and density checks.

Step 04

Lamination

Barrier layers bonded under controlled tension and temperature, then cured to specification.

Step 05

Slitting

Master rolls slit to converting widths with edge and splice inspection.

Step 06

Bag making

Pouches formed, sealed and fitted with zippers, spouts or valves — dimensional checks on every run.

Step 07

Final QC

Laboratory verification against the approved spec sheet; retained samples archived per batch.

Step 08

Packing & delivery

Export-grade packing and documentation — orders tracked for on-time, complete delivery.

The floor

Where the work happens.

Four halls, one flow: printing, lamination, slitting and bag making — rolls tracked from ink to finished pouches.

Nine-color rotogravure press with in-line inspection
Printing hall

Nine-color rotogravure lines, plus digital.

Engraved-cylinder gravure lays down the dense, consistent ink films that make colors survive lamination and shelf lighting. Registered matte and gloss effects run in-line — and for short runs, our HP Indigo 25K digital press prints from a single pouch to a few thousand, no cylinders needed.

  • Advanced high-speed 9-color presses
  • HP Indigo 25K digital press — small runs from 1 pouch to a few thousand
  • In-line web inspection, automatic registration
  • In-house cylinder and color management
Lamination line
Lamination hall

Barrier by design.

Dry and solventless laminators bond up to multi-layer structures — PET, aluminum foil, metallized films, EVOH and sealant webs — tuned to your product's oxygen and moisture limits.

  • One- to multi-layer structures
  • Solventless option for low-residual, food-safe bonds
  • Curing rooms with batch traceability

Material engineering

Custom resin formulas for every application.

The sealant layer decides how your pack opens, seals and survives the journey. We formulate it to match — specifying custom resin blends with long-standing film partners rather than picking a stock web from a catalog.

  • Pull-to-open PE for coffee bags — fingers only, no scissors or tear notch that could ruin the bag from top to bottom
  • Ultra-high puncture-resistant PE formulas for heavy-duty bags
  • Custom gauges, resin blends and slip levels per application

Keneng bag-making hall — pouch converting lines, roll storage and packing
Converting hall

Film in, pouches out.

Slitting, folding, sealing and finishing lines convert laminated webs into every format we sell — with zippers, spouts, valves, windows and hang holes fitted in-line.

  • Stand-up, flat bottom, quad seal, spout and retort lines
  • Precision slitting for rollstock programs
  • In-line quality checks for stable, consistent output

QC & slitting

Checked at every step, not just the last.

Full-width inspection systems watch every meter of printed and laminated web, and high-speed slitters cut to converting width — then the lab verifies color, bond, seal and barrier before anything ships.

  • Full-width web inspection on rewinders and slitters
  • Spectrophotometer color verification
  • Bond, tensile, seal-strength and barrier testing

Keneng warehouse — wrapped, palletized film rolls stored as safety stock, with a forklift moving a pallet
Warehouse

Safety stock on hand.

A five-story warehouse — 1,000 m² (about 10,800 sq. ft.) per floor, 5,000 m² in total — holds film and other materials as safety stock, so your order does not wait on a supplier's lead time or an upstream delay.

  • Buffer stock of key materials protects your delivery date
  • Rolls wrapped and palletized to keep the film clean and protected
  • Marked material zones and floor lanes for safe forklift handling

Digital printing

Hold your design
before you pay for cylinders.

Our HP Indigo 25K digital press prints small runs, so your marketing team can see and touch the real pack before thousands of dollars go into printing cylinders and plates.

Small runs

Print only what you need

From a single pouch to a few thousand, a digital press prints your pack without the setup of cylinders or plates.

Real proof

See it, hold it, test it

Your team can judge color, layout and shelf impact on a real printed pack, not just on a screen or a paper mock-up.

Safer decision

Approve before the big spend

Fix the design while changes are still cheap. Once it is approved, we make the cylinders and plates and move to production.

Why Chaozhou

Suppliers within an hour.
Downtime measured in hours.

A converter is only as reliable as the supply chain around it. Ours is a short drive away.

Service

Repairs in hours, not weeks

Machinery service and spare-parts suppliers are within about an hour's drive, so a stopped line is back up quickly instead of waiting on shipments.

Supply

Critical inputs close at hand

Most of our critical suppliers sit within an hour of the plant, which shortens replenishment and shields your delivery date from upstream surprises.

Know-how

A region built for packaging

Chaozhou is an established packaging and printing region — the technicians, engineers and suppliers we rely on are neighbors, not time zones away.

Global freight map — sea lanes from Shenzhen (Shekou & Yantian) to major hub ports on six continents, plus the China–Europe rail bridge from Xi'an to Europe
